Asda fast action yeast packets 6x7g Notes store yeast airtight in a cool, dry place once opened, consume within 2 days Pizza bases 3-4 medium 500gr strong white bread flour (plain flour works too, they're just less fluffy) 2.5ml/0.5tsp salt 2x5ml/2tsp golden caster sugar (normal sugar works fine) 7g yeast 325ml warm water (clingfilm, rolling pin, floured surface) (pizza toppings, garlic clove(s)) *mix flour, salt, sugar, yeast in a large bowl *(+crushed clove garlic for garlic bread) *make a well in the centre, add warm water *mix until forming into dough, then turn out onto lightly floured surface *knead 5-10mins into soft, elastic dough (should be soft & spring back when lightly touched) *flour the dough, cover with clingfilm *let the dough rest for 15mins (when not using the same day, put in the fridge) *divide into 3 or 4 pieces as required *roll out 1 piece at a time, ideally 5mm thick *rest for 15-30mins *add toppings, bake in preheated 200C/Gas Mark 4 oven for 7-8mins
